Is there a tension between FoRB and the overall responsibility of a state to protect its citizens? And if so, how to strike the right balance between the individual’s human right and society as a whole?

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) recently published a policy guidance on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) and Security. This paper will be presented in a meeting hosted by MEP Neena Gill (S&D, UK) and MEP Lukas Mandl (EPP, AU).
